Super long episode title befits a super long episode, and Mikey,
d$, and #TwitterlessDrEarl have an awful lot to go over... it's
July 2023 ReFlicktions and the meat of the summer blockbusters fall
into this episode.
First up, Dave kicks it off with the first of two Katie Heigl
movies as he begins to finish a quest that no one should really
ever want to do. #TwitterlessDrEarl does hit the Pretentious
Corner once or twice, as Mikey dives into the Cannon Films schlock
of bad Chuck Norris and the classic film of good Jack
Lemmon.
Both old movies and new are celebrated, and of course, the
biggest of the summer - Asteroid City, Indy 5, Oppenheimer, Barbie,
and MI Dead Recks P-1 all are covered here, as well as the guys'
new Top 5.
And the guys even touch on some of the controversy of the Barbie
film and it's themes and possible agenda...
